Asha Smith is the Director of Equity & Human Rights for Anne Arundel County. She has been a key collaborator on the County’s equity strategy, implementation and enforcement of the County's fair housing law, and coordinating compliance with non-discrimination laws and policies. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She is admitted to the New York Bar. Prior to her career in law, she worked in the advertising industry.
