Upcoming October Caregiver Workshops

Annapolis, MD (September 29, 2025) - On Tuesday, October 14th at 6:00 p.m., Mary Chaput, Director of Family Caregiver Support Programs, will present "Dementia 101: Understanding the Changes and Developing Coping Skills." This workshop session will cover a basic understanding of dementia and how it affects the individual diagnosed and their caregivers. Communication tools and strategies for coping with changing behaviors will also be discussed. This workshop will be held at the Busch Annapolis Library (1410 West Street, Annapolis). These workshops are presented at no cost to the public through the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
