Claudia Allen is the Assistant Director of Equity in the Office of Equity and Human Rights (OEHR). Claudia is an advocate for all. Her expertise includes integrating equity and inclusion into standard operating procedures, creating and facilitating trainings and workshops on bias and anti-discrimination, and using digital storytelling to encourage transparency and garner community involvement. Before joining OEHR, Claudia served as the Director of Advancement for Maryland Humanities, where she fostered relationships with local, state, and federal government officials and staff, managed communications, and provided strategic leadership for fundraising efforts. Claudia has a Master of Arts in English from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Leadership from Anders University.
