The Department of Aging and Disabilities Announces Winter Holiday Closure Schedule for All Senior Activity Centers

  • All Senior Activity Centers will be closed on January 29 and January 30, 2026 due to ongoing adverse weather and travel conditions. View press release for more information.
  • Severn Senior Activity Center, located at 1160A Reece Road, Severn, will be closed on Saturday, January 31, 2026

Annapolis, MD (December 2, 2024) - All senior activity centers will be closed from Tuesday, December 24th through Wednesday, January 1st. They will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. The Senior Center Plus Program and transportation service to senior activity centers will not occur during the holiday closure, but they will resume on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. Lunch will not be served at the senior activity centers during the closure, but lunch will be served at all other congregate nutrition sites.
