Storytelling that Moves Donors to Action - Effective fundraising depends on a compelling narrative. This session focuses on translating mission and impact into stories that inspire generosity and deepen donor connection.

Annual Giving & Digital Campaigns That Build Loyalty - Campaigns should build long-term donor relationships, not just short term revenue. This session explores how to create predictable, sustainable individual giving. 

Major Gifts: Relationship-Based Fundraising That Works - Major gifts are built on intentional relationships. This session provides a practical framework for identifying prospects, cultivating connections, and making confident asks. 

Grants & Institutional Funding Strategy - Grants are most effective when pursued strategically. This session focuses on building a sustainable institutional funding approach rather than chasing opportunities. 

Building a Fundraising Plan You'll Actually Use - A fundraising plan should be practical and aligned with capacity. This session offers a streamlined framework for creating a focused, 12-month roadmap. 


United Way Trauma Stress Workshop

Most nonprofit leaders (and staff) have experienced stress at some point in their professional careers. It might even be safe to say that your teams are feeling high levels of stress right now. Recognizing stress and trauma is the first step to building a stronger you, a stronger team, and a stronger organization 

The Nonprofit Center is pleased to host the United Way of Central Maryland's popular workshop, Understanding and Dealing with Trauma and Stress. During the workshop, you will learn about:

  • The different kinds of stress and trauma people can experience 
  • How the effects of stress and trauma show up in your life and in your health   
  • Practical, easy-to-use tools you can start using right away to deal with these challenges and become stronger 
  • Ways to understand and support others whove experienced trauma

  • Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Virtual)
  • Thursday, April 16, 2026 fro 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (at the Nonprofit Center) - a light dinner is included
