The Department of Inspections and Permits is responsible for the timely processing and issuance of permits for residents and businesses located in Anne Arundel County, ensuring efficient and compliant development and construction within the community.

Land Use Navigator (LUN) Update

All Development applications are now submitted via the Land Use Navigator (LUN) as of August 4th, 2025.

Paper submittals will no longer be accepted, nor are appointments available with the Permit Center. All applications will be managed by the OPZ Development Division.

Permit Center

The Permit Center intakes permit and subdivision applications for those wanting to do so in person. It serves both residential and commercial customers.
