Nkeshi Free has spent nearly 20 years helping mission-driven organizations share their work with clarity and purpose. Her background in media relations and strategic communications is rooted in a career-long commitment to community, service, justice, and equity. Nkeshi’s work centers on narrative messaging—helping organizations communicate their impact in ways that make it easier for them to connect with the communities they serve.
Nkeshi holds a Master’s in Communication & Public Relations from The University of Akron and a Bachelor’s in Speech Communication from Mississippi Valley State University. Her dedication to service is reflected in her membership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and as a 2012 graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland.
Now part of the team at the Nonprofit Center, Nkeshi is excited to work alongside nonprofits throughout Anne Arundel County to help them tell their stories and grow their reach.
