Upcoming January Caregiver Workshops

Annapolis, MD (December 29, 2025) - On Thursday, January 29th at 6:00 p.m., staff from the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer's Disease Research Center will present "Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias: Advances in Research and Treatment." Dementia research has continued to make progress toward developing effective prevention and treatment options that can benefit all of us. Recent advances in drug development, behavioral and lifestyle changes, and new diagnostic procedures are just a few examples of the progress researchers have made in understanding, treating, and ultimately preventing these devastating diseases. This workshop will be held at the Linthicum Library (400 Shipley Road, Linthicum Heights). This workshop is presented at no cost to the public through the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
