Annapolis, MD (March 20, 2026) - The Lula G. Scott Community Center, located at 6243 W Shady Side Road, Shady Side, will be closed on Monday, March 23, 2026, due to ongoing utility repair work. Regular scheduled congregate meal service will not occur at this site. Arrangements have been made for participants of the Senior Nutrition Program and Office of Transportation that utilize this site.
The center will reopen at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and operate as usual, providing regularly scheduled Senior Nutrition lunch program meals to participants.
The Lula G. Scott Community Center is one of twenty-two congregate meal sites in Anne Arundel County managed by the Department of Aging and Disabilities.
