The Department of Aging and Disabilities announces upcoming Caregiver Educational Workshop in September

Annapolis, MD (August 24, 2023) - On Thursday, September 7th, at 6:30 p.m., Mary Chaput will present “Dementia 101: Understanding the Changes and Developing Coping Skills.” This workshop session will cover a basic understanding of dementia and how it affects the individual diagnosed and their caregivers. Communication tools and strategies for coping with changing behaviors will also be discussed. The workshop will be held at the Hein Building, 7320 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie. These workshops are presented at no cost to the public through the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
