Groundbreaking for New Transportation Operations Facility

Anne Arundel County will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Transportation Operations Facility (Project C589200) on July 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at 120 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie, MD. 
 
This $17 million project, located on Dorsey Road, is a partnership between DPW and the Office of Transportation. The 7.6-acre facility will provide a permanent home for the County’s transit bus fleet, featuring electric charging infrastructure, increased efficiency, and expanded service capacity.
