Meeting Announcement
The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPWs) would like to inform you about an ongoing project in your area. This project is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve critical infrastructure that supports safe, reliable and sustainable communities.
About the Project
The project involves the reconstruction of the intersection of Gambrills Road and Dicus Mill Road. The current two-way stop with a flashing signal will be converted into a roundabout to address safety concerns. A bicycle and pedestrian path will also be added around the roundabout.
Utility relocations are tentatively scheduled for early 2027, but no impacts on water or wastewater service are expected. Project construction, which is tentatively expected to begin in September 2027 and be completed by November 2028, will impact traffic on both roads. Lane closures and full road closures will be required at different times during the work and a variety of traffic control devices will be in place to guide motorists through the area, or direct them to a detour.
