Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC)

Most small businesses lose winnable federal bids for one reason: they respond to the wrong kind of request, or don't respond at all because they can't tell what they're looking at.

Doing Business with GSA Part 2 is Thursday, August 27, 10 to 11:30 AM, virtual. This session is free for MCCC members and open to non-members for a fee.

Speaker:  Kemba Gilmore, Small Business Technical Advisor for GSA's Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization, is walking through the actual difference between an RFI, an RFQ, and an RFP, and why treating them the same is how small businesses lose winnable bids.

This training is designed to give a clearer understanding of the differences between:

  • RFI (Request for Information)
  • RFQ (Request for Quotation)
  • RFP (Request for Proposal)

Gain valuable insight into how agencies like the U.S. General Services Administration procure products and services from businesses.

Whether you caught Part 1 or this is your first session, you'll leave knowing exactly what each of these means for your business.

Who should attend?

  • Small business owners
  • Consultants
  • Professional service firms
  • IT/cyber companies
  • Construction/service contractors
  • Businesses trying to enter the government market for the first time
