Meeting Announcement
The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) would like to inform you about a Capital Improvement Project in your area. This project is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve critical infrastructure that supports safe, reliable and sustainable communities.
About the Project
The project involves replacing the existing water main on Yarmouth Lane and Hyannis Lane and connecting water services to the new main. Construction hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and work is tentatively scheduled to begin on October 1, 2026 and be completed by January 31. 2027.
Single-lane closures will be in place in the work zone and flaggers or temporary traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists through the area.
Brief water service interruptions of about 30 minutes will occur when individual water connections are transferred to the new main. Residents will be notified in advance of any service interruptions.
