The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) would like to inform you about a Capital Improvement Project in your area. This project is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve critical infrastructure that supports safe, reliable and sustainable communities.
About the Project
This project is for the restoration of an outfall and the rehabilitation of the stream valley within Crofton Park and the vicinity of Linthicum Walks and Crofton Park Middle and High Schools.
The project limits extend from the Linthicum Walks driveway, including floodplain and floodplain terraces adjacent to Davidsonville Road, across Crofton High School driveway, to the existing stormwater management pond at the Northernmost corner of the Crofton Park property. Refer to the Project Area Map on the next page. Total project length is approximately 1,900 linear feet. Construction is currently scheduled to start in fall of 2027.
