On stage two nights, is our AACC Dance Company in its Winter Dance concert! Dec. 5 & 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater of the Pascal Center for Performing Arts, we invite you to step into the dream and reimagine The Nutcracker Suite with Duke Ellington’s Jazz Suite and Tchaikovsky's classics that have become holiday favorites.
The program begins with original student works created and performed by company dancers, showcasing fresh voices and vibrant choreography. Then the program progresses to a lively twist of Duke Ellington's swinging jazzy take on The Nutchracker Suite and (or plus) a few of Tchaikovsky’s beloved classics. The evening concludes with Suite Dreams: Clara's return. The audience journeys with Clara back to a cherished place from her childhood. It's a performance that promises something for everyone—families, first-time attendees, and seasoned dance lovers alike. Celebrate the season with an enchanting blend of tradition and jazz-infused surprise!
