Waste Management - Weather Update 2/6/26
Waste Management Services has been performing curbside collections according to normal schedules since Monday, February 2, 2026. Full service has been restored to most areas of the county this week as road and alley conditions are much improved.
However, if your street isn't collected on your normal collection day, please continue to leave your materials at the curb. Road conditions and ice along some portions of our collection routes may continue to delay some curbside collections. We appreciate your patience and regret the inconvenience this may cause.
Tips to help us get back to normal in all areas:
- For the safety and efficiency of crew members who manually retrieve and empty trash cans and recycling carts, please set out your materials for collection in a location adjacent to the roadway, clear of accumulated snow and ice. The shoveled space in front of driveways is best!
- Clearing snow and ice from private roads is the responsibility of road owners. Private roads may be identified with a blue street name sign.
- If your road has not been traveled by collection vehicles, please contact 410-222-6100 for information about a temporary collection point.
In addition, our recycling centers are available for your recycling and disposal needs 8 am - 4 pm, Monday - Saturday.
