Gina Worthey
Vice Chair (District 7)

Gina Worthey, owns and operates a Washington, DC based consulting firm that delivers project management, leadership training and executive coaching to senior-level clients within government, nonprofit, and Fortune 500 companies. Her educational experience includes a Master’s degree in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware’s Biden School of Public Policy and Administration. Gina completed an Executive Education program at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School on Women Transforming Leadership and continues as an alumni facilitator for the program. In addition, Gina has received Governor’s Citations from former Governor Larry Hogan for her leadership in the grassroots efforts to promote funding and technical support for community-based organizations to provide access to vaccines and COVID-19 in Baltimore City’s most critical neighborhoods.

Gina’s education, skills and passions have always been guided by the desire to develop women and marginalized communities by providing access to resources that address the systemic challenges that are commonly faced. Additionally, she holds board memberships with such woman focused organizations as Vital Voices and nFormation.

Originally from California, Gina has lived in Annapolis for the past 8 years. She was excited to serve as the Vice-Chair for the AA Commission for Women to deepen her impact and involvement in the local community to support women’s issues and legislation that is important to us. She is also a member of the legislative and girl’s empowerment committees. !
