The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA), in partnership with the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland (LBCMD) and Kiewit, invites you to a networking event to build relationships and learn about future subcontracting opportunities on the Key Bridge Rebuild Project.
Kiewit is under contract with MDTA to provide Progressive Design-Build services on the Key Bridge Rebuild. The project will replace the1.7 mile-long bridge on I-695/MD 695 that crossed the Patapsco River (before collapsing after a vessel strike in early 2024). The project will be delivered in two phases. Currently, during Phase 1 (design), Kiewit is working closely with MDTA to develop the project scope and requirements. Phase 2 will include final design/engineering and construction, with the new bridge expected to open in the Fall of 2028.
Kiewit is actively seeking to engage local, small, and diverse firms interested in professional services, construction, and supplier opportunities on the Key Bridge Rebuild Project.
This Event Will Feature a Project Overview and Information and Resources for Interested Subcontractors/Suppliers
