Closings, Cancellations, & Delays

The Arundel Olympic Swim Center will be closed for Annual Facility Maintenance from August 11 to September 2.

On Monday, May 12, 2025, the B&A Trail will be closed between Brandywine Avenue and Round Bay Road from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. so BG&E can make some repairs.

Recreation and Parks has implemented a new photograph policy at Downs Park. This is a pilot program and does not apply to other regional or community parks at this time.

The North Arundel Aquatic Center will be closed for Annual Facility Maintenance from May 5 - June 15.

Red Maple at Quiet Waters Park playground will be closed for improvements from May 12, 2025, for approximately 7-10 days. Please note that weather conditions may impact the completion timeline.

Southgate Old Mill Park playground will be closed for improvements from June 23, 2025, for approximately 7-10 days. Please note that weather conditions may impact the completion timeline.

Edgewater Park playground will be closed for improvements from April 22, 2025, for approximately 7-10 days. Please note that weather conditions may impact the completion timeline.

Arnold Park playground will be closed for improvements from June 9, 2025, for approximately 7-10 days. Please note that weather conditions may impact the completion timeline. 

Deale Tracey’s Park playground will be closed for improvements from April 28, 2025, for approximately 7-10 days. Please note that weather conditions may impact the completion timeline.

Bay Head Park playground will be closed for major improvements from May 27, 2025 for approximately 10-13 days.  Please note that weather conditions may impact the completion timeline.
