Pursuant to the Anne Arundel County Charter, Article III The Legislative Branch, Section 308 The Referendum, the Board received more than one-half but less than the full number of signatures required to complete a referendum petition against Anne Arundel County Bill No. 82-09, filed within forty-five days from the date it became law in the initial submission.

Therefore, time for filing the remainder of the signatures to complete the petition shall be extended for an additional thirty days with like effect.  The above results for the initial submission are as of 4:30 p.m. on February 23, 2010. 

All daily statistics concerning the second submission are unofficial until the signature verification is finalized.  When the signature verification is finalized, the Board of Elections will certify the results.

Petition verification will be ongoing for 20 days starting March 5, 2010.  The above results are as of 4:00 p.m. on March 18, 2010.
