OCA participates in the Association of Local Government Auditors External Quality Control Review Program. Under the program, experienced auditors from other member offices conduct an onsite review to determine whether OCA’s system of quality control is suitably designed in conformance with professional standards and is operating effectively. A successful peer review result provides the citizens of Anne Arundel County with confidence regarding OCA’s audit work quality.
OCA’s most recent peer review was conducted in July 2023 and covered audit reports issued from April 1, 2020, through March 23, 2023. The review team determined that OCA’s internal quality control system was suitably designed and operating effectively.
