The Anne Arundel County Long Term Care Bureau (LTC) is a service delivery system which coordinates services for the aging and disabled population utilizing public and private agencies.  The purpose of the Long Term Care Bureau is to help older adults and individuals with disabilities to remain safely in the community for as long as possible.  It is the umbrella in which the following programs fall under.


Services & Programs

Programs under Long Term Care Bureau (LTC):

  • Community Personal Assistance Services (CPAS)
  • Community First Choice (CFC)
  • Home and Community Based Options Waiver (HCBOW)
  • In Home Aide Services (IHAS)
  • Evidence-Based Programs
  • Senior Center Plus (SC+)

Services provided by programs under Long Term Care Bureau (LTC):

  • Long Term Care Case Management
  • Payment for some services depending on eligibility
  • Bereavement
  • Assessment of the client
  • Development of individualized care plans
  • Arrangement for and coordination of services
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the services
  • Ongoing monitoring of the services
  • Empowerment of the client and/or their family
  • Continued long term management of the client's case
