Competitive aquatics programs are offered year-round at two indoor swimming pools in Anne Arundel County, Maryland - Arundel Olympic Swim Center and North Arundel Aquatic Center. Competitive swimming descriptions and sessions dates are listed in the program guide.

Competitive Aquatics

Masters Competitive Swimming is available at Arundel Olympic Swim Center in Annapolis, Maryland.
Swim team for adults 18 and older. Three days of training per week. Coaching improves stroke mechanics in any of the four competitive strokes. Workouts vary for beginning lap/fitness swimmers to former collegiate swimmers and triathletes. Masters Swimming is an international program with competition available for all levels of swimmers. Swimmers may start at any practice. The program is ongoing: Mon/Wed 8:00-9:30 p.m. and Sat 8:00-9:45 a.m.
Program Fee: Choice of daily admission or a swim pass. USMS or Anne Arundel Amphibians membership is required. For more information contact Coach Rand at [email protected]

Youth Competitive

Age Group Training

A year round competitive training program for youth, ages 6 to 18 years.  Training begins October 1, with one payment, listed below, for the season through May.  A separate summer registration will be paid for the months of June through August.  Competition is available through the Annapolis Swim Club, USA Swimming.  
Group placement tryouts will be held in July. Exact tryout times are listed on the Annapolis Swim Club’s website at Priority registration will be given after tryout placements.
The Arundel Olympic Swim Center, youth competitive program, currently consists of swimmers beginning their first season of training as well as athletes competing at national level meets.  This program emphasizes stroke development and physical fitness, combined with speed and endurance training.
