Overview

Parties and members of the public must register ahead of time to join the Board of Appeals for public hearings and meetings. Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing or meeting.

Appropriate technology is required in order to register and join the live hearings and meetings. Virtual hearings and meetings are conducted using the Zoom application.

Instructions for Joining Board of Appeals Zoom Meetings

How to Join a Meeting

1. Select the event you wish to register for under Hearing Schedule

2. Under "Register in advance for this webinar" select the zoom link provided.

3. Fill out the form and submit the form using the Register button.

4. You will receive a personal “join link” via the email address provided in your registration.

You may join a virtual hearing or meeting at any time after the start by using your personal join link. You will be placed in a virtual waiting room where you will be able to see and hear the hearing or meeting.

THE BOARD MAY CHOOSE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF THE MEETING TO OBTAIN LEGAL ADVICE OR TO DISCUSS PERSONNEL MATTERS AS AUTHORIZED BY THE GENERAL PROVISIONS ARTICLE SECTION 3-305(B)(7) OR SECTION 3-305(B)(1) OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic state of emergency, this hearing or meeting will be held remotely via Zoom. The link to register to join a particular hearing or meeting will be posted under the individual hearing or meeting on the Board of Appeals Hearing Schedule. Each hearing or meeting will have a separate link and phone number.

Parties do not need to register if they are invited as a panelist. Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing or meeting. Appropriate technology is required in order to register and join the live hearings and meetings. Virtual hearings and meetings are conducted using the Zoom application.

Hearing/Meeting Day

Please submit all proposed exhibits at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of the virtual hearing date. Exhibits may be submitted via email to [email protected] or by utilizing the Board's drop-box located on the Northwest Street side entrance of the Arundel Center. Email is preferred.

Hearing documents and exhibits will be available for view one (1) hour before the start time.
