Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks' Child Care Division is pleased to offer the Am & PM Pre-K School Age Child Care (SACC) Carrie Weedon Early Education Center program. Our state-licensed Child Care programs provide a safe, supportive environment that promotes social interaction, community integration, physical development, and intellectual growth in accordance with the Maryland State Department of Education’s Office of Child Care and National After School Association Standards. 

  • A morning snack and an afternoon snack are also included in your monthly fee. 
  • The before school program operates from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the school day, and the after school program operates from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m. every day that school is in session for students. 
  • Students 4 & 5 years old as of September 4th. Children must be toilet trained.

How to Register

Registration for New Participants 
Please be aware that there is a maximum registration for each center and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Registrations may be completed by Creating an Account  (Create a primary account with your child added on the account and an adult over the age of 18. An email address is required to create an account online) or in person at the Child Care Administrative Office, or mailed to: Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks, Child Care Division, Suite 105, 1 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401
  • Prior to your child’s first day, the Child Care Administrative Office must receive a completed registration, registration fee as indicated on your account.
  • Please be aware that online registration does not complete the registration process. You will immediately receive an email that your online registration was received. You must keep this for your records to verify the date of your registration. 
  • Your child’s enrollment will not be considered complete until all required forms and the fee have been received by Child Care.
  • After completing the online registration, the next step is to view the Required Forms for Admission. Open the Forms & Publications page to download the required forms. 
  • State Mandated Forms: After completing the registration process, the next step is to download your child’s Forms for Admission. Your child’s enrollment will not be considered complete until all required forms and the fee have been received by the Child Care Administrative Office. Participants can email [email protected] or fax (410) 222-4478 forms. Please contact our office if you need these forms mailed to your address. No one will be permitted to attend without this information on file.

​School year activities include organized games, arts and crafts, activity stations, enrichments that support STEAM programming (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), community service projects, and special events.
