Water Main Repairs in Severn Cause Closure on New Disney Road
Residents May Experience Temporary Loss of Water Service During Repairs
Annaplis, MD (May 24, 2018) - The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works Bureau of Utility Operations is currently working to repair a water main in Severn damaged earlier today by a contractor. During repairs, there will be no through traffic on New Disney Road from Disney Estate Circle to LaSalle Place. Motorists traveling from Annapolis Road will be directed to use Ridge Road to Severn Roadd to Carriage Drive, which will bring you to New Disney Road. Repairs may impact rush hour traffic. Anyone driving in this area is urged to use caution.
The water main break will also cause a temporary water service interruption for residents in this area. Repairs are expected to be completed by 7 p.m.
