CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DIVISION
Commercial Robbery (Update/Arrest) - Brooklyn Park
On October 29, 2017 at 2:30 p.m., officers responded for a commercial robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at 4000 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. A store employee stated the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled from the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspects:
1) Black, male, mid 30s thin build, wearing dark sweatshirt and blue jeans
UPDATE:
During the investigation, detectives were able to positively identify the suspect involved in this robbery. On November 7, 2017 detectives served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and he was taken into custody.

Robbery Spree Arrest - Crownsville
1) On November 7, 2017 at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Shell gas station located at 345 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. A male entered the business, displayed a long black gun and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and the male fled from the business. Several officers and a K9 canvassed the area with negative results.
Suspect: Unknown race male wearing gloves, mask and dark clothing
2) At approximately 12:30 a.m. on November 8, 2017, officers responded for a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 495 Old Mill Road in Millersville. A male entered the business, displayed a long black gun and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and the male fled from the business. Several officers and a K9 canvassed the area with negative results. It was determined that this suspect was the same suspect as the earlier robbery at the Shell Station.
Suspect: Unknown race male wearing gloves, mask and dark clothing
On November 8, 2017 at approximately 2:30 a.m., a male fitting the description of the earlier robberies was observed by an officer at the Wawa located in the 8300 block of Veterans Highway in Millersville. The male was seen carrying a long gun similar to the one described by the previous robbery victims. He attempted to flee when he realized he had been spotted by the officer; however he was quickly apprehended following a short foot pursuit. The investigation revealed that the male also attempted to rob a Gulf gas station located in the 8200 block of Veterans Highway several minutes prior to arriving at the Wawa.
A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence where additional evidence from the robberies was recovered.
