Pedestrian Struck  - Glen Burnie

On November 28, 2017 at approximately 5:45 p.m., officers responded Hospital Drive and Mountain Ridge Drive in Glen Burnie for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Investigation showed that an adult male, wearing dark clothing attempted to walk across Hospital Drive not using a crosswalk or traffic control device. As a result, he and was struck by a vehicle traveling on Hospital Drive with the right of way.  The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperative. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he was treated and released.

 

Western District

Armed Robbery of a Citizen - Severn

On at November 28, 2017 approximately 6:13p.m., officers responded to the area of Pioneer Drive and Deerfield Drive in Severn for a robbery of a citizen.  The 23 year old male victim stated while walking in the area he was approached by the three subjects.  One subject displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene on foot. Several officers, including canine, and police helicopter responded but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim was not injured during the incident.
