WESTERN DISTRICT

 

 

Commercial Armed Robbery                                                                      Jessup

 

On Saturday November 26, 2016 at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station located at Annapolis Road in Jessup. Investigation revealed the suspect entered the store, produced a handgun, and demanded the cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene. Numerous officers, to include K9, responded to the scene to canvass the area; however the suspect could not be located.  The victim was not injured during the incident.

 

Suspect: White male, approximately 20 years of age

 

 

Commercial Armed Robbery                                                                      Severn

 

On Saturday November 26, 2016 at approximately 4:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Dash-In located at 7845Quarterfield Road in Severn. Investigation revealed the suspect entered the store, produced a handgun, and demanded the cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene. Numerous officers, to include K9, responded to the scene to canvass the area; however the suspect could not be located.  The victim was not injured during the incident.

 

Suspect: White male, approximately 20 years of age

Armed Robbery of a Citizen                                                                                    Laurel

 

            On November 25, 2016, at approximately 10:49 a.m., officers responded to the area of the Garden Inn, located in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel for a robbery of a taxi cab driver.  Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 52 year old male victim from Greenbelt. The driver stated that he picked up a fare (the suspect) from the Greenbelt Metro Station to transport to the Garden Inn. When they arrived at the Garden Inn, the suspect displayed an unknown make/caliber handgun and demanded money.  The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot.  Numerous officers, to include K9, responded to the scene to canvass the area; however the suspect could not be located.  The victim was not injured during the incident.

 

Suspect: Black male, approximately 6’1, 200lbs, early to mid-30’s, with short, dark hair, wearing a dark leather jacket, dark pants, armed with an unknown make/model semi-automatic handgun.

 

 

EASTERN DISTRICT

 

 

Attempt Homicide/Family Violence                                                             Pasadena

                                                                                                           

On November 27, 2016 at approximately 7:25 a.m.,, officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of 2nd Street, Pasadena in reference to a family violence. The caller, a family member who was not on scene, stated that an elderly female victim was stabbed by her Granddaughter numerous times.  When officers arrived, they located an 82 year old suffering from multiple stab wounds. The suspect was located and was placed into custody without incident.  Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim by ambulance to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. She has since been released from the hospital.

 

Investigation would reveal that the suspect stabbed the victim in order to “cut the demons out of her”.  The suspect was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. She will be charged with attempted murder and other related assault charges upon her release from the hospital.

 

Suspect: Savannah Esperson Weaver, 20 year old female, 500 block of 2nd Street in Pasadena (NO BOOKING PHOTO AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME)
