Western District
Purse Snatching (UPDATE) - Severn
On September 28, 2017 at approximately 10:23 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of the Walmart located at 407 George Clauss Boulevard for a purse snatching. The elderly female victim stated that the suspect approached her, grabbed her purse from her arm and fled. Officers searched the area with the assistance of the K9 unit but were unable to locate the suspect. The female sustained bruising to her arm as a result of the incident.
Suspect: Black male, 6ft tall, 160lbs, white tee shirt, jeans, baseball hat
UPDATE:
During the course of this investigation detectives were able to positively identify the suspect in the case as Jermaine Holland. On November 20, 2017 detectives were conducting surveillance in the Glen Burnie area for Holland when he was located and arrested. Holland was charged with robbery from this case and served with three outstanding arrest warrants.

Northern District
Attempted Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie
On November 20, 2017 at approximately 7:21 a.m., officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 6708 Ritchie Hwy in Glen Burnie for report of a citizen robbery. Officers spoke with the 32 year old female victim who stated while withdrawing money from the bank’s outdoor ATM, the suspect approached her, displayed a box cutter, and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in a white truck. Several officers canvassed the area and lookout was broadcast for the suspect vehicle.
Officers from the Eastern District observed the vehicle in the area of D Street and 9th Street in Pasadena. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was positively identified as the suspect and arrested. While conducting a search of the vehicle, officers located the box cutter used during the attempted robbery.
