Attempted Commercial Robbery - Laurel

On November 13, 2017 at approximately 6:14 p.m., officers responded for a commercial robbery at the Subway restaurant located at 3481 Laurel Fort Meade Road. A male entered the establishment, implied he had a handgun and demanded cash.  The clerk did not comply and the suspect fled from the store.  An off-duty Anne Arundel County police officer spotted the suspect and informed responding officers of the suspect’s location.  Additional officers arrived and apprehended the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.  No weapons were recovered.
