Home Invasion                                                                                                           Odenton                                            

On May 8, 2017 at approximately 3:46 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Retreat Court in Odenton for a home invasion.  The adult male victim stated that two suspects entered the residence, displayed handguns and demanded money. The suspects then removed an undetermined amount of money and fled the residence. Several officers, including aviation, and canine conducted a canvass of the area but were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries.   

Suspects:

1)      Black male 18-25 years of age, wearing light blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans

2)      Black male 18-25 years of age, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans

Citizen Robbery                                                                                                        Hanover

On May 8, 2017 at approximately 1:05 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of Maryland Live Casino for a citizen robbery. The adult male victim stated that while he was talking on his cell phone, the suspect approached him from behind and grabbed his wallet. The suspect then fled on foot through the parking lot. Several officers including aviation, canine, and casino security responded and canvassed the area for the suspect.  The police canine unit located the suspect in a wooded area adjacent to the parking lot and was taken into custody without incident. The victim’s wallet was recovered and returned to the victim. There were no injuries.
