Northern District

Commercial Robbery - Glen Burnie

On June 16, 2018 at 4:59 a.m., officers responded to a robbery of the Royal Farms Store located at 7201 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie.  The clerk stated the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cigarettes.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled from the store. Several officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Suspect:

1)      Black male, average height, athletic build, light skin, wearing light colored clothing

 

Citizen Robbery  - Brooklyn Park

On June 16, 2018 at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a robbery in the 100 block of Haile Avenue in Brooklyn Park.  The adult male victim stated while walking on Lednura Road near Haile Avenue he was approached by the suspects who displayed a gun and demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspects fled with the victim’s backpack, cell phone, and wallet. Several officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspects:

1)      White male, 6-00 to 6-01, Thin, black hair worn in ponytail, dark colored hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. Armed with an unknown style black handgun.

2)      White male, 6-02 to 6-03, Average build, short cropped hair, black shirt with white graphics, dark colored pants.

 

Pedestrian struck  - Glen Burnie

On June 15, 2018 at approximately 11:00 p.m. officers responded to the area of Mountain Road and Ritchie Highway in reference to a hit and run accident involving a pedestrian.  Preliminary investigation shows the adult female victim was attempting to walk across Mountain Road when she was struck by vehicle traveling west on Mountain Road.  The vehicle did not stop and was last seen turning northbound onto Ritchie Highway.  The victim was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.  Anyone with information or that can identify the driver is asked to contact Corporal Daughters 410-222-6135 or can remain anonymous by calling our 24-hour tip line 410-222-4700.

Suspect vehicle – Silver or gray colored 2009-2011 Honda Civic, with possible right front damage.

 

Eastern District

Arson/Gun Shot - Glen Burnie

On June 17, 2018 at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a gun shot heard and a vehicle fire in the 8200 block of Crab Apple Court in Glen Burnie.  The adult male victim reported he was awakened to the sound of a gunshot.  When he looked outside to investigate, he observed his 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer had been set on fire.

Upon examination of the scene, officers observed damage consistent with a shotgun round above the front living room window.  The fire department responded, extinguished the car fire, and is investigating the arson.  There were no injuries.
