Stabbing Baltimore
On June 13, 2017 at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Wasena Avenue for report of a stabbing. The adult male victim stated that he was walking in the area of Wasena Ave and Alley 69 when two suspects approached him and demanded property/money. He stated when he refused, one of the suspects cut him in the upper body with a box cutter before they fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Several officers canvassed the area with the assistance of the police K9 unit, but were unable to locate the suspects.
Suspects:
1) Black male, light skin, early 20’s, 5’6”, thin build, all black clothing, black bandana
2) White male, mid-late 20’s, 5’5”, medium build, black clothing
Handgun Violation / Theft Glen Burnie
On June 12, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded for a theft at the Dollar General Store located at 312 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. Through investigation it was learned that the suspect concealed several items while inside of the store and attempted to flee. Responding officers located the suspect and he was taken into custody. During a search of the suspect, several stolen items from the store were recovered. Also located inside the suspect’s waistband was a .22 caliber Colt short handgun. The suspect is currently prohibited from possessing any firearms, and he was charged with theft and handgun charges.

Shots Fired Annapolis
On June 13, 2017 at approximately 12:02 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Stonewood Court in Annapolis for the report of shots being fired in the townhouse community. One of the callers gave specific information regarding the suspect who was firing guns behind a row of townhouses, some of which were occupied during the incident. Police officers and K-9 responded to the community and observed the suspect in the rear yard armed with a handgun and a shotgun with spent shell casings around him. The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated, was taken into custody without incident. There were no reported injuries. The suspect is a resident of the community where the shots were fired. Animal Control
Extended Rabies and Microchip Clinic Millersville
Anne Arundel County Animal Control will be offering an extended Rabies and Microchip Clinic for the public on Thursday June 15, 2017. The clinic will be held at Anne Arundel County Animal Control at 411 Maxwell Frye Road in Millersville. The clinic, which normally runs from 12 pm to 3 pm, will be extended until 7 pm. This opportunity is being offered in an effort to make rabies vaccination of pets more accessible to the public as it is a requirement of the law. After this extended clinic the weekly Rabies Clinics will return to normal hours of operation from 12 pm to 3 pm on Thursdays, in July the clinic hours change to 9 am – 12 pm.
This clinic has an outdoor line so clinic attendees are encouraged to come prepared for the weather. Clinic attendees are responsible for bringing necessities for both themselves and their pets. Please be patient while in line and maintain a safe distance between pets. Rabies vaccines cost $5.00 per pet and microchips cost $20.00 per pet. Animal Control accepts cash (please bring cash in $20.00 increments or smaller) and checks.
