Police Press Release July 24, 2018

Western District

On July 24, 2018 at 4:26 a.m., officers responded to the 1800 Block of Richfield Drive in Severn for a domestic assault.  The adult male victim reported that during a verbal altercation with his girlfriend, she displayed a handgun and fired it once in his direction, nearly striking his leg. Officers located the female suspect at her residence and placed her under arrest.  A .38 caliber handgun and one .38 caliber shell casing were recovered from the scene.  The victim was not injured during the incident.
