Northern District

Citizen Stabbing/Robbery - Linthicum

On January 11, 2018, at approximately 12:20 a.m. officers responded for a stabbing outside the Sheraton Hotel located at 1110 Old Elkridge Landing in Linthicum. The adult male victim stated that he was given a ride from Baltimore to Linthicum.  He stated when he arrived at his destination the driver began arguing with him over payment.  When the victim exited the vehicle, he was assaulted by the driver and another female occupant of the vehicle. During the assault the victim was stabbed with an unknown object and robbed of his cell phone. The victim was able to flee and call for assistance.  He was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.

Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie

On January 11, 2018, at approximately 6:15 a.m. officers responded for a citizen robbery that occurred in the area of Virginia Avenue and Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. The female victim was walking along Virginia Avenue when she was approached by a male who pointed a handgun at her and demanded money.  The victim handed over her purse and the suspect fled from the area.  Officers searched the area however did not locate the suspect.

Suspect: Black male, 5’6” thin build, wearing dark clothing

Western District

Commercial Robbery - Gambrills

On January 11, 2018 at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a commercial robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 1044 route 3 in Gambrills.  A male entered the business, displayed a knife and demanded money.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled from the area toward the northbound side of Route 3.  Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police K9 unit however were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
