Police Press Release for November 21, 2016
Bank Robbery - Hanover, MD
On Saturday, November 19, 2016 at approximately 9:36 am officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 7568 Ridge Road in Hanover for a robbery. Responding officers were advised that a male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, implied he had a weapon, and handed them a note announcing a robbery. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of US currency and then he fled the scene. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a black Chevrolet with Virginia tags.
Several officers responded and began canvassing the area. An officer located a vehicle matching the description parked in the parking garage of the Maryland Live! casino. The suspect was located and positively identified as the subject from the bank robbery. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with Armed Robbery; Robbery; and Theft between $1000-$10,000.

Bank Robbery - Linthicum
On November 19, 2016 at approximately 12:19 p.m., officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 721 Hammonds Ferry Rd. N in Linthicum for a bank robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the branch manager who reported that an unknown male approached one of the tellers, displayed a knife, and demanded money. The bank complied with the subject’s demands and the suspect then fled the area. Several officers responded and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. We are investigating this robbery as if it is linked to the bank robberies in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Suspect: Black male approximately 5-10 with a slim to medium build wearing Dallas Cowboys hat
