Police Press Release for March 9, 2016
WESTERN DISTRICT
On March 9, 2016 at 3:25 a.m., an officer was on routine patrol in the area of Sunflower Drive and Indian Summer Drive in Odenton. While patrolling the area, the officer observed a bicycle on the ground and a male/suspect dressed in all black rummaging through the interior of a car. The officer approached the suspect and made apprehension without incident. The suspect was found to be in possession of, (2) apple iPod, a cell phone, phone/iPod chargers, headphones, and change belonging to the victim. The vehicle owner was located and it was confirmed the male suspect was committing a theft from auto.
