EASTERN DISTRICT
Attempted Strong Arm Robbery Glen Burnie
On March 5, 2016 at approximately 2:02 p.m., officers responded to the Target, located at 7951 Nolpark Road in Glen Burnie for a fight call. Responding officers were informed that the male suspect possibly smoked PCP in the Target bathroom. The suspect walked up to several female victims and assaulted them. The suspect then walked to another section of the store and approached another female victim. He grabbed the purse that she had on her shoulder and began pulling it from her. The victim gave the purse to the suspect in fear of being assaulted. A female subject, in the company of the suspect, grabbed the purse away from the suspect and gave it back to the victim. The suspect then exited the store and was taken into custody by the responding officers. Evidence of PCP was recovered from the suspect. None of the victims were injured. The suspect was transported to Eastern District station where he was charged accordingly.

WESTERN DISTRICT
Armed Robbery of a Citizen (Follow-up) Severn
On February 28, 2016 at approximately 9:45 p.m. officers met with the victim of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The victim reported he met with two subjects he was familiar with and they assaulted and robbed him at gunpoint. After the robbery, the victim fled on foot to his residence and called police. He reported he heard a gunshot as he ran away from the suspects.
The victim reported to responding officers that he knew where one of the suspects lived. Officers responded to 8212 Tomlinson Court, Severn where they located one of the suspects involved in the robbery. This suspect, Dangelo Myers, was identified, arrested and charged with Robbery. The second suspect could not be located.
Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation and were able to identify the 2nd suspect as Adrian Lavergne. A known address for him was listed as 1847 Eagle Court, Severn, Maryland. Attempts to locate and apprehend Lavergne at this location have met with negative results.

- OPEN WARRANT for: Armed Robbery, Robbery, Assault 1st Degree.Reckless Endangerment.

WESTERN DISTRICT
Citizen Robbery Odenton
On March 6, 2016 at 12:02 a.m., officers responded to a citizen robbery at Piney Orchard Pkwy and Odenton Road in Odenton. Once on scene, three juvenile victims reported being assaulted by two other juvenile suspects (both 16 years old). One of the juvenile victims advised a pair of his shoes were taken during the assault. This juvenile said he knew both of the suspects, where they lived, and could identify them. (Investigation revealed the victims and suspects had pre-arranged to meet each other at the above location to "trade" shoes, which they've done several times in the past.)
Officers transported the victim to one of the suspects last known residences in the 500 block of Kingdom Court in Odenton. The suspect’s mother answered and after a brief interview, she cooperated with the investigation. She led officers to a second nearby location where her son's friend lived on Imperial Square in Odenton. Officers conducted a knock and talk at this location and the homeowner advised the suspects were inside. The suspects were asked to exit onto the front porch for identification purposes. The victim positively identified both suspects. The shoes taken during the robbery were not recovered. Both juvenile suspects were arrested and charged with robbery and assault on juvenile citations.
NORTHERN DISTRICT
Theft from Auto Arrest Glen Burnie
On March 7, 2016, at 1:23 a.m. officers responded to the area of a Glen Burnie Transmission located at 7166 Ritchie Hwy, for a report of a suspicious subject. Officers made contact with a subject in the area and found the subject to be in possession of several items he could not account for. A check of the area by officers revealed a vehicle on the parking lot that had been broken into. The subject was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Human Trafficking Arrest Linthicum
On March 3, 2016, members of the Vice Unit received a tip regarding a possible Human Trafficking victim in the Linthicum area of Anne Arundel County. Using the information provided, detectives located an internet web-site advertisement in which the adult female was featured for the purpose of prostitution. The female was later located in a hotel room and linked to prostitution activity.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined the suspect listed below rented a hotel room and transported the female for the purpose of a commercial sex act. He was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking – Take Cause (transportation), prostitution and assignation. The investigation is still active.
Vice detectives worked closely with local non-profit groups to assist trafficking victims with counseling, education and other forms of support.
