Police Press Release for March 31, 2017: Bank Robbery

Bank Robbery  - Glen Burnie

On March 31, 2017 at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers responded to the Sandy Spring Bank located at 7405 Ritchie Highway North for a bank robbery. Officers spoke with bank employees that stated the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding US Currency. The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of US Currency. There were no injuries reported and no weapon implied in this incident. The Criminal Investigation Division Commercial & Bank Robbery Unit is investigating.
