Police Press Release for March 30, 2016
NORTHERN DISTRICT
Heroin Baltimore
On 3/29/2016 at approximately 10:15 a.m. officers were in the area of Doris Avenue and 4th Street when they observed a 2000 Ford expedition MD tag 3CG4132 pass by with the driver not restrained by a seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated at the aforementioned location. The driver was identified as Tyrone Eugene Watkins (46 yoa.) It was discovered during the stop that Mr. Watkins was driving on a suspended license. During a search, the following contraband was seized, 24 vials with yellow tops containing suspected cocaine, 2 clear capsules containing suspected heroin, and 2 tightly wrapped one dollar bills containing suspected heroin. Mr. Watkins was subsequently charged at Northern with his traffic offenses as well as possession of CDS and possession with intent.

Voyeurism (Peeping Tom) Annapolis
On Mach 29, 2016 at approximately 4:35 pm, officers responded to the Forever 21 store in the Annapolis Mall for a report of a possible sex offense. Officers spoke with the 16 year old victim and her parents and learned that the suspect was in a dressing room next to the victim and attempted to videotape her while she was trying on clothing. The victim saw the suspect angling his cellphone towards her and immediately asked him what he was doing. The suspect then immediately exited the dressing room.
Based on the victim’s statement, the suspect’s statement and one of the store associate’s statements, it was determined that no sex offense had occurred. The suspect was however arrested and charged with voyeurism (Peeping Tom).
