Armed Robbery - Severn
On January 4, 2017 at approximately 3:18 p.m., officers responded to the 7800 block of Canter Court in Severn for a robbery of a pizza delivery driver. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 27 year old male victim who stated that he was robbed while making a delivery. The victim stated that the subjects approached him as he arrived at the delivery location, displayed handguns and demanded money. The victim complied with the demand and the suspects fled from the area on foot.
Western District Detectives responded and assumed the primary role in the investigation. While on scene, a subject matching the description of one of the suspects was seen in the area by the detectives. As they approached the subject, the subject fled on foot in the neighborhood, near Canter Court. Numerous officers responded to the scene to assist and located the subject a short distance away where he was taken into custody without further incident.
Through investigative means, the subject in custody was identified as one of the suspects in the armed robbery. The subject was identified as a 16 year old juvenile from Baltimore. He was arrested and charged as an adult with the following charges: Armed Robbery, 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, 3rd Degree Burglary, and 4th Degree Burglary. The investigation is still on-going to identify the 2 remaining suspects.
Arrested: 16 year old Juvenile male from Baltimore (Charged as adult)
Darnell William Dorsey
1) Black male, early to mid-20’s, approximately 5’8, medium build, wearing a ski mask and dark clothes, armed with an unknown make/model/caliber handgun.
2) Black female, early to mid-20’s, approximately 5’8, medium build, wearing a ski mask and dark clothes, armed with an unknown make/model/caliber handgun.
CDS Arrests - Glen Burnie
On January 4, 2017 at approximately 11:03 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Marley Neck Road in Glen Burnie for a complaint of a check vehicle with unconscious driver. Upon arrival to the area, officers located the vehicle running, but stationary at the stoplight with the driver sleeping. The officers woke the driver, identified him as Tramond Mobray, and checked him for any medial issues. While speaking with Mobray, officers observed a clear plastic bag containing (24) baggies of heroin and six Xanax bars. During a search of the vehicle, officers located several items to include a digital scale and sandwich baggies that indicated the distribution of drugs. Also located in Mobray was $778.00 in U.S. Currency. Mobray was arrested and charged with numerous drug violations and DUI related offenses.
