Northern District
Handgun/CDS Arrest - Glen Burnie
On January 22, 2017 at approximately 2:16 a.m., officers responded to 100 block of Margate Drive in Glen Burnie for a complaint of a large party. The resident hosting the party advised that the party had gotten out of hand and asked officers to help disperse the party. While clearing the house with the resident, officers found the below suspect in a locked bathroom who was in possession of a loaded .380 handgun, over 42 grams of marijuana packaged for distribution, and cocaine. The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance not marijuana, and possession of a handgun.

Eastern District
Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie
On January 21, 2017 at 2:36 p.m., officers responded for a robbery and spoke with a 16-year-old male victim who advised that he was walking on a path in the area of Williamstown Ct. and Mali Ct., to his work. While on the path, he was approached by the suspect who asked him for five dollars. The victim kept walking, and the suspect put his hand in his waistband and said he would shoot the victim if he did not give him his money. The weapon was implied and the victim did not see a weapon. The victim gave the suspect his IPhone and the suspect reached into his pocket and removed an undetermined amount of US currency. The suspect then fled the scene. Officers searched the area for the suspect but did not locate him. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

1) Black male, 17-18 years old, grey hooded sweatshirt and burgundy boots
Strong Arm Robbery - Glen Burnie
On January 21, 2017, at approximately 6:27p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie for a strong arm robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with an adult female victim who stated that she was approached by male subject who attempted to grab the purse from her arm. A struggle ensued with the suspect where the purse was taken from the victim. The suspect fled the area on foot. Officers and K-9 Unit canvased the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect:
1) White male, late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’10’’ wearing a gray hoody, with a scruffy beard.
Western District
Commercial Robbery - Odenton
On January 20, 2017 at approximately 11:06 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the Today’s Pizza located at 1215 Annapolis Road in Odenton. Officers arrived and met with an employee and store owner. The employee/owner stated that two suspects entered the store displaying small knives and demanded money. They complied and the suspects fed the store on foot. Several Units canvassed the area but the suspects were not located.
Suspects:
1) Light to medium skin black male, approximately 5-06, wearing all dark clothing
2) Black male, approximately 6-00 with an average build, wearing all dark clothing
Strong Armed Robbery - Severn
On January 20, 2017 at approximately 08:22 p.m., officers responded to a report of a fight in progress in the 8400 block Pioneer Drive in Severn. When officers responded to the area they located a seventeen-year-old male victim who stated he had been assaulted by robbed by four suspects. The victim stated that during the assault, the suspects had removed his cell phone and coat along with other property from him during the altercation.
During a canvass of the area, officers observed two of the suspects walking on Pioneer Drive. When officers approached the suspects they fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, one suspect was detained. The victim positively identified the male that was apprehended as the main person that knocked him to ground during the assault. Anne Arundel County Fire Personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment for minor injuries to face and back. The suspect was identified as a 15 year old and was charged on a juvenile citation with robbery, theft, and two counts of second degree assault.

Robbery - Crofton
On January 22, 20176 at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy located at 2003 Davidsonville Road in Crofton. Employees stated that two suspects entered the store and jumped the counter of the pharmacy demanding medications. The employees stated that one of the suspects held his hand inside his jacket implying a weapon, however no weapon was seen. The suspects then grabbed numerous unknown items off the shelf and fled the store. Numerous officers, to include K9, canvassed the area but the suspects were not located.

1) Black male, black jacket dark colored pants
2) Black male, black jacket and blue jeans
Commercial Robbery - Hanover
On January 23, 2017 at approximately 1:51 a.m., officers responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 1356 Dorsey Road in Hanover for a robbery. Upon arrival the clerk advised that the suspect entered the store and asked to purchase cigarettes. When the clerks opened the cash drawer, the suspect demanded the money. The suspect was given currency, and then he fled the store on foot. Numerous officers, to include K9, canvassed the area but the suspects were not located. NO weapon was implied or seen, and there were no injuries.

1) Black male, approximately 5-09, average build, in his 20's, wearing dark clothing
