Heroin Task Force
Heroin Arrest - Glen Burnie
On February 23, 2017 at approximately 5:50 a.m., the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force, which is comprised of members from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, the Annapolis Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department, with the assistance of the Anne Arundel County Special Operations Section Quick Response Team executed a search warrant at 7542 East Howard Road, Glen Burnie, Maryland. The warrant was the result of an investigation into narcotics trafficking from the residence. During a search of the residence, detectives recovered the following 57 Oxycodone pills with a street value of $855.00, a stolen 9mm Sig Saur Pro handgun, a shotgun, a .22 cal. Rifle, $44,461.00 in U.S Currency and a small amount of heroin (<1gram). Detectives also recovered cutting agent, and paraphernalia indicating distribution of heroin.
The suspect was arrested and charged with multiple counts of CDS possession, distribution and firearms related charges.

CDS Arrest -Glen Burnie;
On February 26th 2017 at 11:25 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle after receiving complaints from witnesses that the vehicle occupants were dealing drugs in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near Mountain Road. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer noticed a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found one of the vehicle occupants to be in possession of 10.76 grams of marijuana, 25 capsules of heroin and $460.00 in U.S. currency. That occupant was arrested and charged with multiple drug possession and drug distribution charges.
