Western District

Shooting (UPDATE)  - Odenton

On February 20, 2017 at approximately 6:03 p.m., officers responded for a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Tenbrook Drive in Odenton.  Upon arrival, officers located a male victim on the ground just outside the front door of the residence suffering from a suspected gunshot wound to the body.  Western patrol officers and detectives quickly identified a crime scene and witnesses. The victim was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma and is currently listed as serious but stable.

The investigation indicates this was not a random act of violence. Detectives are actively investing this incident and have developed several suspects. Updates will be provided when available.

 

UPDATE:

As a result of their investigation, detectives were able to identify two suspects in the shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of Tenbrook Drive in Odenton. On February 22, 2017 at approximately 2:30 p.m., detectives from the Western District and the Fugitive Apprehension Team located and arrested those suspects, Richard Brendoff and Sheyenne Potter in the Curtis Bay area of Baltimore City. They have both been charged with attempted first degree murder and other weapons, and assault charges.

SOUTHERN DISTRICT

Bank Robbery -  Annapolis

On February 22, 2017 at approximately 2:56 p.m., officers from the Southern District responded to the Howard Bank at 116 Defense Highway in Annapolis for a reported robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke with bank employees who stated that the subject entered the bank and demanded money from a teller.  The bank employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled from the bank on foot.  The suspect did not display or imply a weapon, and there were no injuries to bank employees. Several officers including canine and aviation responded to canvass the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Suspect: Black male approximately 40 to 50 years old wearing a dark clothing
