Fatal Crash - Marley
On February 15, 2017 at approximately 12:34 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle crash on MD-10 northbound near Marley Station Rd in Marley. Investigation showed that a Toyota sedan was traveling north on MD-10 at what witnesses reported was a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, spun to the right and left the roadway. The vehicle then struck a guardrail before rolling over. The driver was declared dead at the scene by the Fire Department personnel and was taken the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.
The preliminary cause of the crash was failure to remain in a single lane. It appears that excessive speed was a contributing factor. The driver was wearing a seatbelt. The Traffic Safety Section is handing the crash investigation.

Robbery - Glen Burnie
On February 15, 2017 at 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the 7-11 Store located at 7600 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd in Glen Burnie for a robbery. When officers arrived they spoke with the clerk advised who stated that two males entered the store, one armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded money and the clerk complied. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot towards Amberley Road. Several officers responded and canvased the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
Suspect #1: Black male, average height, thin build, wearing light colored shirt, and dark pants armed with a handgun.
Suspect #2: Black male, average height, thin build, wearing dark colored clothing
