Trespassing School Grounds - Cape St. Claire
On December 21, 2016 at 1256 p.m., officers responded to Cape St. Claire Elementary School at 931 Blue Ridge Dr. Annapolis for a report of a subject trespassing on school property. Upon arrival, officers met with a school administrator who stated that a male was spotted three times over the past week on the edge of school grounds. The subject was confronted by the school administrator on December 12th and December 14th and was told to leave the school grounds. It was learned on December 21st that the subject had attempted to lure a 5th grade girl away from the school during each occurrence, and on one occasion, had touched the hand of the girl. The below named individual was identified by the school administrator and charged with multiple counts of trespassing. He was released from the District Court Commissioner on personal recognizance.

Attempted Armed Robbery - Annapolis
On December 23, 2016 at approximately 3:06 a.m., officers responded for an attempted armed robbery at the Wawa located at 628 Admiral Drive in Annapolis. The male store clerk stated that a male subject entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect did not receive any money from the clerk and fled on foot. Officers and K-9 searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual. The clerk was not injured.
Suspect: Black male, 6’0”, 150 lbs, early 20s, black ski mask, dark clothing.
Animal Cruelty -Update - Severn
On Wednesday November 9, 2016 at approximately 4:28 p.m., Anne Arundel County Animal Control responded to the area of Stillmeadows Road and Marlton Court in Severn for two stray dogs roaming the neighborhood. When officers arrived, they located and recovered twopitbull/pitbull mix dogs. Both dogs appear to be approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. If you know the owners of either or both of these dogs, please contact Animal Control 410-222-8900.
Investigation of this case by the Western District Detective’s Unit resulted in the identification of two 14-year old juveniles who instigated the two stray dogs to attack a third dog using a stun gun. On December 22, 2016, members of the Western District Detective’s Unit executed a search warrant at the home of the two juveniles. Both juveniles were arrested and charged with animal cruelty related charges.
