Northern District

On February 24, 2018 at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a fight/stabbing in a parking lot in the 100 block of Chesapeake Center Court in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that a verbal confrontation escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, three people sustained non-life threatening cuts/stab wounds. All victims were transported to local hospitals where they were treated and released.  Northern District detectives continue to investigate this case in an attempt to identify and charge a suspect. Any updates will be provided when more information is available.

Human Trafficking - Linthicum

On February 22, 2018 at approximately 1000 hours, Vice Unit detectives made contact with two females advertising on an internet website for the purpose of prostitution.  Detectives were directed by the females to come to a hotel in Linthicum.  Three adult females were located at the hotel and linked to prostitution activity.  Prior to meeting the females in the motel room, an adult male, later identified as Ondray Lamar Pleasant, was observed leaving the same room and walking to a nearby business where he was later taken into custody.  

Investigation revealed the suspect had two adjoining rooms registered to him and was profiting from all three females engaging in prostitution. One of the females reported the suspect assaulted her when she refused to further engage in prostitution. The suspect was charged with several human trafficking and prostitution charges as well as second degree assault.    

Vice detectives are working with a local non-profit group to assist the female trafficking victims with counseling, education and other forms of support.
