Criminal Investigation Division Robbery Unit

 

Commercial Robbery (UPDATE) -  Pasadena       

On August 25, 2017 at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers responded to Pace Pharmacy located at 8039 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena for a robbery. Employees stated the two suspects entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded medication and money. The employees complied and the suspects fled from the store. Numerous officers including a police helicopter and canine searched the area but the suspect could not be located.

Suspects: Two black males, mid 20’s, wearing jeans and masks

On August 25, 2017 at approximately 11:52 a.m., officers responded to Pasadena Pharmacy located at 2932 Mountain Road in Pasadena for a robbery. Employees stated the two suspects entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded medication and money. The employees complied and the suspects fled from the store. Numerous officers including a police helicopter and canine searched the area but the suspect could not be located.

Suspects: Two black males, mid 20’s, wearing jeans and masks

(Update/Arrest)

Through investigative efforts, robbery detectives were able to identify the two suspects involved in these incidents as Jawanza Carter and Arthur Prince. Both Carter and Prince were also linked to robberies in Annapolis City and Prince George’s County. Both suspects have been located and charged with these two robberies. Both are being held at Jennifer Road Detention Center.

Western District

 

Burglary (Commercial): Severn             

On December 8, 2017 at 5:14 a.m. officers responded to the Rite Aid located at 403 George Clauss Blvd in Severn for a burglar alarm.  While checking the building, officers observed the ATM from inside the business was taken. Several officers canvassed the area but no suspects were located. Western District Detectives are currently conducting an investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.
